Q & A
What is your favorite thing about New York City in the spring?
Oh gosh, everything! I love how everyone is out and about walking around the city. There is so much to do from drinking on rooftops, brunch with friends on the patio, spending time in the park under a blossom tree and all of the fun outdoor events. The city has an optimistic feel to it in the springtime.
How would you describe your style?
My style can easily be described as feminine and classic. I enjoy wearing feminine details like ruffles and lace, and items that are timeless like a crisp white button up and a blazer. I adore wearing dresses and always feel confident and more like myself in them.
What's the best style advice you've ever received?
Growing up, my mom always told my sister and me to buy classic pieces and not trends, because trends will come and go. Classic pieces will last you for years, as they never go out of style. She would tell us to dress the way we wanted to dress.
What are your favorite places in the city?
Every now and then I will treat myself to lunch or an afternoon tea at the BG Restaurant. I love the decor in there, and the view of Central Park. Usually afterwards, I will head into the park and sit by the Duck Pond. Always feels peaceful. The Standard Rooftop is one of my favorite places to grab a cocktail in the spring and summer. Cookshop is my favorite restaurant to dine with my friends.
If you could live the rest of your life in any silhouette, which would it be?
A fit & flare silhouette, hands down! It is the best fit for my figure and I always feel confident and feminine in it.
Florals, solids or prints?
All of the above! I never shy away from a classic print or beautiful florals, and you can never go wrong with a simple solid color.

Q & A
What is your favorite thing about New York City in the spring?
Spring in the shortest season in NYC, which makes it even more special because it's so fleeting. I love being able to just walk around the city with a light jacket with my husband Brian and our dog. The city feels so energized (since we've all been deprived on Vitamin D for nearly six months of winter) and you can feel happiness just coursing through everyone's veins.
What's the best brunch spot in the city?
I may sound biased, but my favorite brunch spot in the city is my husband's restaurant The Chester in the Meatpacking District. They have the most delicious French Toast — it will literally melt in your mouth. Now that I'm pregnant, I'm craving their Bloody Mary, so that will definitely be one of my first stops post-baby. Plus, they're on the best corner for people watching in the city. When it's warm out, you can grab a seat in their Biergarten and amuse yourself for hours with all the NYC characters running around.
What's your favorite family-friendly weekend spot?
Black Tap in Soho. They are known for their over-the-top milkshakes (called crazy shakes) and these are not for the faint of heart! Make sure you go hungry, grab a burger, and then wash it down with their Cotton Candy Shake or Brooklyn Blackout Shake. It's especially perfect if you have friends or family in town visiting because it's so unique to NYC.
What's the best style advice you've ever received?
Dress for your body type. It's important to take risks, but it's just as important to enhance your best features with the right dress.
What’s your favorite dress from the spring collection?
I love pieces that can easily transition from day to night, and that's why I'm obsessed with the Ava dress in Maggy London's spring collection. It's perfect because it's conservative enough to wear to work, and then just throw on a leather or denim jacket to wear out at night.
