Q & A
What is your favorite thing about New York City in the spring?
I love seeing all the trees and flowers starting to bloom. Long winters in the city are rough, so I am looking forward to shedding all the winter layers and wearing my cute spring dresses. I love those days when it's finally warm enough to sit outside in the city during Sunday brunch.
How would you describe your style?
I love having fun with my personal style and enjoy trying new things and taking risks. I adore color and love mixing patterns and textures. I think it’s really important to love and embrace all my curves and dress to celebrate my body every day.
What's your favorite dress in our Spring collection?
The Kennedy Fit & Flare. I love the placement of the floral and the colors are so pretty. It fits perfectly and it has pockets, which I love!
If you could live the rest of your life in any silhouette,
which would it be?
I could easily live in a fit & flare dress. The silhouette is easy, flattering and feminine.
What's the best style advice you've ever received?
The best advice I've received is the same advice I always give to women, and that is to dress how you want to feel. I think it's so important to take the time to get dressed in the morning in something that makes you feel beautiful and confident.

Q & A
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Seeing other creatives excelling at their art—whether it’s music, food, film, whatever—inspires me to also want to do and create great things.
How would you describe your style?
Colorful, confident, sexy, playful, occasionally a bit retro. I love bodycon cuts, nipped-in waists and gorgeous details like a great neckline or textured fabric. A little drama is always fun, too.
What are your favorite places in the city?
Ilili is my favorite restaurant for all special occasions (and even the occasional lush lunch!). The Manhattan Cricket Club is an old-timey speakeasy with great cocktails and even better ambiance. The chocolate cake at Casellula served with a heavy pour of cream on top is my favorite dessert in town. Subrosa is a great spot for live salsa and latin music, while the McKittrick Hotel is one of my favorite venues for intimate concerts and
quirky themed parties.
What's your advice on how to find the perfect cocktail lounge?
I don’t like reviews because I think those sites just attract the love-hate extremists. Instead, I find a bar or restaurant’s geotag on Instagram and see what people are posting from there. The pictures and comments will give you a more accurate story.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Oh I’ve gotten tons of great advice over the years. The one bit that’s been knocking around in my head lately is that “jealousy is a reminder of what you really want in life.” When you work in a creative industry like mine, it’s common to see opportunities you were hoping for go to someone else (often even friends!), which can be frustrating at first. But instead of getting stuck with feelings of envy or unpleasantness, just reframe it as a reminder of what your goals are, and use it as a motivation to work even harder!
What's the best style advice you've ever received?
The way my mom always allowed me to experiment with different styles when I was growing up (even super weird ones!) helped me develop confidence in the way I dress and present myself. She basically instilled in me the idea that all that matters is that I genuinely love what I’m wearing; it’s not about what other people want,
think, or expect.
