Heidelberg is one of the most touristic cities of Germany, despite its small size! It is located
southwest, on the Neckar river, most popular for the Heidelberg University, one of Europe's oldest and most reputable universities. Due to the picturesque location on the river, the luscious green forests and the pastel architecture, Heidelberg is often named as one of most romantic cities of the country. The city is ideal for daily trips, easily walked on foot and guarantees to charm at first sight even the most demanded visitors.

What to Do:

Have an early start in the day to enjoy the empty alleyways. Due to the forests, the city often is
covered in fog, take a walk up the castle ruins and enjoy the first sunrays while the town is waking up. The Heidelberg Castle offers some stunning views over the city. The castle grounds are covered in trees that smell divine. For the history lovers, the Castle hosts a museum of pharmacy and the world's largest wine barrel. Have a coffee at the cute cafes in Kornmarkt, a small square at the Old Town and indulge in people watching. After fueling up in coffee and local cakes, take a walk up the Philosophenweg (philosopher's walk), where the university professors and philosophers would draw inspiration while enjoying the lovely views of Heidelberg and Neckar river.

Where to Eat:

Heidelberger Kulturbrauerei, one of the oldest breweries in town, offers to introduce to the local beer culture. Rest your tiring body with their homemade beers and regional specialties. Unter Freunden, a cozy Italian restaurant with the ''best pizza in town'' reputation. Resist ordering an Italian wine (for once) and taste a regional instead.

What to Wear:

German summers tend to be especially humid when the temperatures rise. Opt for breathable
materials with loose but flattering fitting. The Sade Jumpsuit is perfect for sightseeing, the vibrant colors with the incorporated fabric belt will surely make heads turn. Heidelberg is covered in cobbled stone, therefore comfortable flat sandals are a must for the long walks required to see each corner of this city. For an evening look, the Kailani Sheath dress is perfect for enjoying a glass of a local wine at the numerous restaurants the city has to offer. The halterneck dress with contrasting geometric patterns is shaped to hug your curves and make you feel extra feminine.
