Three Pieces, Six Ways: How to Make the Most of Your Wardrobe

featuring Guest Author Caralyn Mirand

With the holiday season right around the corner, it’s important to invest in some versatile pieces you can feel good about wearing again (and again) without hesitation — it’s so easy to get stuck in a rut, wearing the same outfits in the same ways! From workwear, to cocktail hour, to weddings and beyond, I am so thrilled to show you how to style your favorite pieces in a few new ways. After all, now is perfect the time to explore your wardrobe, play with your accessories, and keep things exciting!

The Solid Dress

I love the gorgeous emerald color of the Adriana Dress (which looks incredible on every skin tone!).

Look 1
I kept this look simple and office friendly with a statement necklace and leopard heels. I love pairing animal print with jewel tones — treat it as a neutral!

Look2
To switch things up, I threw on a leather jacket for the perfect night out on the town look. I swapped out my statement jewelry for a few delicate pieces and added a smaller clutch. Still loving the animal print, so I finished with my snakeskin pumps and headed out!

The Simple Jumpsuit

If you don’t have a black jumpsuit in your wardrobe, you need to seriously consider investing in one! It’s such a versatile piece you can wear year round. Dress it up, dress it down — and not to mention, it’s pajama-level-comfy!

Look 1
The Yoli Jumpsuit looks amazing on its own, but you can easily layer with your favorite blazer for a completely professional, put-together look.

Look 2
This jumpsuit is a blank canvas! Play with accessories to make it feel fresh and new each time you wear it. I added red accessories for (tasteful) pops of color. This is the perfect update to a classic wedding guest go-to.

The Lisa

This Lisa Dress makes me feel like I can accomplish anything! With its flattering silhouette and rich wine hue, this is a favorite for the season.

Look 1
For my first look, I accessorized with wine-hued shoes to play with the idea of a monochromatic look. I added a classic trench coat and some fun tortoise earrings to compliment the all-over color and pull the look together.

Look 2
In spirit of trying new things, I was inspired to try this dress out as a skirt! I’ve never tried this technique before, but was pleasantly surprised to see how well it worked. I layered with sweetly detailed neutral sweater and cinched in at the waist with a skinny black belt. This is an easy way to love your dresses in a brand new way!
